Window on the World: Caring for Creation, August 4-11 2008

caring for creation

If creation is God’s gift to us, are we allowed to exploit nature? If we believe that God in Christ saved the world, does that include the whole of creation? What about justice? Is economic justice in conflict with eco-justice?

These are some of the questions being asked by Hielke Wolters of the World Council of Churches as he prepares to be keynote speaker at Window on the World.

Get to grips with the changes we need to make to care for creation, with discusion, talks, hands on workshops. Get a global perspective on a global issue with leaders drawn from India, Korea, the Netherlands and learn how to root those perspectives into your own life.
